Worldwide waitlist · Germany launches first · Free to join

A few answers before you join.

The main limits and next steps for the worldwide waitlist and the first launch in Germany.

What is Lumi?

Lumi pairs an app break you plan yourself with a voluntary financial pledge. You choose the time window, apps and amount. Opening an app alone does not trigger a charge: that requires deliberately ending the pledge, separately confirming the exact amount and secure acceptance of the confirmation. The app is in development; the waitlist is free.

Is Lumi a sleep tracker or medical treatment?

No. Lumi does not measure, diagnose or treat sleep and makes no promises of health benefits.

Who can join the waitlist?

Anyone aged 18 or over can join from anywhere. Select your country or region of residence. Germany will launch first. Launch dates for other countries have not been set, and future availability is not guaranteed.

Why does the app start at age 18?

Lumi is planned around a voluntary commitment with a money amount chosen in advance. Because this can create financial obligations, our first app release is for adults.

This is our launch decision. It does not mean that teenagers cannot buy things online. Use by people under 18 would require a separate review of contract and payment conditions and possible parental consent. We have not decided whether or when to offer this.

The current beta waitlist is for the same audience, so it is also for ages 18 and over. Joining remains free and triggers no payment.

Is the beta planned for iOS and Android?

Yes. Choose your current system in the form. Invitations depend on the test phase and a supported device.

Does signing up cost anything?

No. There is no card field, checkout, authorisation or payment.

Why do I have to confirm my email?

Double opt-in helps prevent someone else from signing up your address without your knowledge. Your entry becomes active only after you click the confirmation link.

Will I automatically receive marketing?

No. Essential beta messages and optional product news have separate checkboxes. The marketing checkbox is optional and is not preselected.

How do I unsubscribe?

Optional news emails include an unsubscribe link. You can withdraw consent for waitlist emails, news or both at any time and ask for your entry to be deleted by emailing the contact in our privacy notice.

Does joining guarantee an invitation?

No. Test places, device support and timing are still limited and are not a firm promise.
